Directions For Use:
This packet will treat 200 tons of alfalfa/grass haylage. Mix contents of one packet in 100 gallons of non-chlorinated water and apply at 0.5 gallons per ton for alfalfa/grass haylage. If you have any questions, please contact your Grass Farmer Supply agent.
Dissolve the required number of 1 pound packets into proportioner reservoir and meter out the concentrated solution proportional to the tons of forage to be treated, (e.g. to treat 400 tons of haylage from a 4 liter reservoir, add 2 packets to the reservoir and adjust meter to dispense 10 mL for every ton of haylage chopped).
In order to ensure thorough mixing of Haylage Preservative with water, add the required number of packets of Haylage Preservative to half a gallon of water in a sealable one gallon container such as a milk jug. Seal and shake thoroughly before adding this concentrated solution to the application tank.
